Snap Peas

Snap peas are so hardy and easy to grow. I think mine will be ready to harvest in a week or so! Can't wait. At least something is coming along. My second set of radishes are not great. You win some, you lose some. It's all in the name of learning and having fun.

Beets from my Garden!!

Beets from my garden! I could not have been more excited. I grew them from seed the winter, can't remember when exactly, may be October or November. It was an experiment. I planted and told myself I wouldn't tend to them too much since the days were getting shorter. I watered them initially and then when Fall Back (daylight savings occurred), I stopped going into the garden since it was too dark to see anything. On the weekend, I noticed that they were growing and doing pretty well and before I knew it, it was time to pick them, and this is the first batch I picked. I had never been so excited. I have a second batch going now, and I'll probably get a bigger and better batch since I will be thinning them for better growth. Can't wait!
